A few years ago, St. Albans City School started offering breakfast for all students at no charge. Starting this school year, we are excited to announce that all students will also eat lunch at no charge. All children enrolled in our school can eat for free each day. If you have medication to bring into the health office for your child, the nurses will be in on Monday August 24th and Tuesday August 25th to take it and help you complete the required paperwork for school medication administration. These times are in addition to the first day of school. Please be sure all medication is in the original labeled bottle or container. The next PTA Meeting is Tuesday August 18th at 6:00pm in the SACS Library. Please join us as we continue to design the PTA and get ready for the 2015-2016 school year. We welcome and encourage new members and hope to see you there!
The first day for students entering grades 1-8 is Wednesday August 26th. This is a half day for students and parents are invited to attend, and are also invited to the SACS Annual Resource Fair.
A Session: 7:45am – 10:45am
B Session: 8:15am – 11:15am.
The last day for summer meals is Thursday August 13th.
SACS will be closed to the public on Friday August 14th and Friday August 21st. This includes the office.
The summer meal program starts on Monday June 22nd and runs each weekday until August 13th.
Breakfast will be served from 7:45 – 8:30AM.
Lunch will be served from 11:30 – 1:00pm.
Anyone 18 and under eats free and there are no applications or paperwork to fill out.

Due to the weather, SACS Stewardship day will now take place on Monday June 15th from 9:00-10:30AM.
On Friday, June 19, only grades K, 3, and 6 will attend school for Step Up Day. Students will meet with their new community spending time with teachers and the other students who will be joining their community.
Kindergarten buses will run at the same time for pickup in the morning. Kindergarteners will leave our school at 10:15 a.m. Please be sure to be at your child’s stop to meet them.

Monday June 15th – 8th Grade Celebration at Jay Peak Water Park 11:30am-7:30pm.
Wednesday June 17th – Kindergarten Celebration at 6:00pm.
Thursday June 18th – 8th Grade Graduation at 6:00pm. 7/8 Graduation dance from 7:00-9:00pm.
Friday June 19th – Step up day for students entering first, fourth and seventh grade.
